About:

Seasons of East Van is a project which takes place on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
I hope that my continued acknowledgement and action can teach and inspire others to stand in solidarity with our local communities, through actions such as donating to indigenous-led organizations, amplifying voices of indigenous peoples, protecting our environment, and returning land back to those communities.

All photographs that appear on this website are the product spontaneous interactions out in the neighborhoods of “East Vancouver”.

This Substack will serve as a place to explore some of the lessons, stories, and insights I’ve gained through taking on this photography project over the last 6 years.

Currently, there are two main sections I am publishing in.

INS(oev)IDE: Insights and analysis of trends and things I am seeing on the streets through my photography.

GENEs: Interviews discovering the stories behind peoples favorite things.

I hope to continue taking photos in the neighborhood and will continue to add insights as I go!

For a history on the project, you can check this post here.
